In the wake of Hurricane Irma which has left millions of people without power throughout Florida USA, Sicame Australia have ramped up production of our Piranha underground connector range.
The Piranha range has been successfully adopted in Florida since 2007 and are renowned for their reliability underwater being rated to the IP67 equivalent. The connector provides a waterproof electrical connection which is especially useful in a natural disaster or flooding situation as they are currently experiencing.
In recognition of this we have commenced a night shift so that we are producing product around the clock in response for the recovery effort.
