Sicame Australia Pty Limited is an Australian Company affiliated with the French Company 'Group Sicame'. This association began formally in June 1989 following the purchase of Rooney North Johnson Pty Limited. Our office and factories are located in Yatala which is at the top of the Gold Coast. The company operates throughout Australia and the South Pacific with a team of thoroughly trained and experienced representatives and official distributors.

 Sicame Australia relies on a dedicated team of 50 employees whose tasks encompass Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Engineering, Research and Development, and Administration to meet the needs of the Australian Electricity Supply Industry.

 

Our Business

We design, manufacture and distribute a unique range of waterproof single and multi-tap overhead and underground Insulation Piercing Connectors for use in electricity distribution systems in Australia and the South Pacific.

These products are enhanced by a complete range of Aerial Bundled Cable and general construction fittings and accessories manufactured both internally and throughout the Group Sicame worldwide network.

The principal activities of Sicame Australia involve the design, manufacture and supply of specialist electrical single and multi-tap connectors, fuses and mechanical hardware for use on overhead and underground electricity distribution systems.

These activities are supported by the latest computer design and manufacturing programs available. Along with our advanced machinery and testing facilities, Sicame Australia is well placed at the forefront of manufacturing technology in Australia for this business sector. Our advanced modelling, prototyping and testing facilities enable extremely rapid new product development and testing.

This results in very "short time to market" products together with the ability to produce relatively small production runs to suit specific customer requirements.
